Lara Fadlallah - Lead Consultant
Experience
Lara Fadlallah is a lead consultant who drives projects to ensure complete delivery and value to the client. She first joined GBI in order to help satisfy client information requests from the financial community and also provide concrete economics and research to media and clients regarding the global food industry.
Prior to joining GBI, Lara worked in a number of banks such as Bank Audi, Blom Bank and most recently Morgan Stanley where she was an economics research analyst. She contributed to a report on the UAE's financial system, which assessed the exposure of banks to the weakening real estate sector and the tighter credit conditions. Additionally, she interpreted and disseminated UAE commercial banks' balance sheets in a clear and concise format, as well as carrying out different market research requests. She also gained experience in analysing diverse economic data to help form a cohesive macroeconomic outlook for the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Lara graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut where she concentrated on finance and marketing. She then moved to London to pursue further education where she attended Cass Business School to complete a Master's in Finance.
Lara is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
Interests
Lara's interest in different food styles was nurtured by growing up in Florida, Nigeria, Lebanon and London. Ever since she was 12 years old, Lara has been compiling a recipe book with all of her best tried and tested recipes. She is a passionate food aficionado with a strong desire to publish that book one day.
Lara also enjoys a range of activities including cooking, travelling, and painting.
