Examples of potential Responsibilities:
- Business consulting project delivery
- Working with all levels of an organisation from retail staff and kitchen porters all the way up to board level executives in order to implement improvements quickly
- Conduct due diligence on Private Equity, government and Business Angel funding targeted to the retail, food, restaurant and hospitality industries in the UK, Europe and North America.
- Trend reports for food and restaurant industry in the above market segments
- Supporting Directors of GBI with senior executive stakeholder meetings via proposal delivery
- Getting active with blogging GBI on the internet i.e. Finding where there is 'industry chat' and plugging GBI or making me write a pertinent article of just posting the GBI link and contact details.
- Manage GBI public relations activities with GBI appointed PR Agency
- Manage all of the ongoing Business Intelligence material
- Candidate to be supported by GBI for career direction to ensure candidate output is aligned to that direction

The Programme Manager that GBI is looking for will have the following responsibilities take total accountability for planning, structuring, leading and executing the largest projects or programmes of high risk and complexity. Responsible for managing the programme team consisting of project management, business analysis and software development staff.
Examples of potential Responsibilities:
- Manage the programme’s budget on behalf of the programme director, monitoring the expenditures and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses.
- Plan the programme and monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
- Management and analysis of issues.
- Build, manage and motivate the team.
- Ensure the delivery of new products or services from the projects is to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan.
- Be responsible for the quality assurance and overall integrity of the programme.
- Manage third party contributions to the programme as appropriate.
- Communicate with all stakeholders.
- Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects.
- Manage the risks to the programme’s successful outcome.
- Report progress of the programme at regular intervals to the programme director.
Candidate Profile:
- Prince2 level training or equivalent
- Experience in Programme/Project Management using leading methodologies and processes
- Experience in managing multiple parties including Senior Managers and third party vendors
- Ability to manage teams of as small as 4 to teams up to 50
- Understanding budgetary control and resource allocation procedures
